Streetlevel: New Gallery Opens in Bushwick
At the beginning of the month, Bushwick got a new addition to its burgeoning gallery scene: Jason Andrew of NorteMaar and artist Deborah Brown joined forces to open STOREFRONT at 16 Wilson Avenue near Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn. The gallery kicked off with a group show that’s up through February 6th (weekends only). GMAP

I’m always pleased to see a new business opening up in my neck of the woods but I really have to wonder how they can possibly make money. Maybe they have customers who come specifically to them but I can’t imagine that they get any walk in business.

To clarify the above — I know they don’t have money for a fancier website, but posting better and larger images of the work does not have to cost more.
Nice, but they need better photos of the art on the website. Just cannot see much in those tiny images.
