According to this banner that was recently hung at 330 Myrtle Avenue between Carlton and Washington Park, there’s a new Caribbean joint in the works, and, judging from the name, Sans Souci, it’s likely to have some French influences. (Or it could be a couples-only restaurant!) GMAP

  1. Sans Souci was the name of a palace built by Henri Christope in Haiti. It was supposedly named after a former opponent of his during the time of the Haitian Revolution, who was born in Africa and widley known for his courage and valor.
