It’s called Lotus, and Yelper Edward C. shares an early review: “Had the vermicelli salad which was very basic but came with a nice hot sauce and plenty of noodles, but could’ve used a few more cucumbers and more peanuts. I’ll go back and try the sandwiches. The owners seemed really nice.” GMAP
Vietnamese Sandwich Shop Coming to the Slope [Brownstoner]
Had my first sandwich there, ground pork classic, on Friday night. The sandwich was well made, filling and delicious. I asked for it medium spiced, and it was perfect for my palate.
The next day, I took two friends over, and we all had different sandwiches. All were delicious. Washed down with Bubble Tea that was the same as every other bubble tea that I have ever tasted.
Although the service was not terribly rapid [it was busy and the sandwiches are made to order] it was fast enough, and the folks behind the counter were very friendly.
Speaking of Vietnamese sandwich shops, is Tiger Lilly open on Greene Ave. off Classon? My friend sped past and I thought I saw a few people in it but couldnt quite tell.
