Clinton Hill isn’t the only neighborhood with new outdoor seating in the pipeline. There’s some good news for sun-worshipping sweet-tooths in the Heights: The Häagen-Dazs at 120 Montague Street gained approval from a Community Board 2 subcommittee last week to add sidewalk seating, according to District Manager Robert Perris. Zwei Schaufeln kugeln, bitte!

  1. Pretty sure the Haagen Daaz in Park Slope was operating earlier than 1976 (in its original spot on 7th ave bet 1st and 2nd)

There was a Basken Robins on the corner of Montague and Henry throughout the 80’s (beneath the Fred Astaire Dance Studio and Innovative Audio) across from the Waldenbooks that is now a Washington Mutual…

  2. I wish they would put a Haagen Daaz or some sort of ice cream shop in Clinton Hill, preferably on Fulton Street, across from Au du monde or whatever that restaurant is called.Somewhere along Fulton St would work and also in the former bodega shop on Gates and St James.Ohhhh….to dream.
