Streetlevel: Coffee Pedlar Opens on Court Street
After a soft opening earlier this week (reported by Cobble Hill Blog), a new cafe called the Coffee Pedlar opens for real today in the former Margaret Palca Bakes space at 210 Court Street at Warren. If anyone stops in, please report back! GMAP
The internet says “pedlar” is a variant of “peddler.”
Tea Lounge can piss off. Horrible coffee, food, patrons and service. However it serves a purpose in it keeps the strollers, mommies and twits out of the good coffee shops.
I used to live nearby and that area is starved for a really good cup of coffee. The frankies/stumptown combo sounds promising.
I’m with Smudge, I enter Tea Lounge and it instantly makes me feel like I’m back in middle school at a strip mall waiting for my mom to finish up at TJ Max.
Excited for Pedlar/Stumptown.
that spelling is going to drive me crazy. What the heck is a “pedlar?”
It’s owned by the Frankies of Frankies’ fame. They were convinced to open it by the landlord.
Prodigal_Son — The Tea Lounge building is a plain box. There’s something about the look inside, especially those cheap ceiling tiles, that reminds me of a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. Maybe it’s just me.
Er, that’s “apartment”…
This is a block away from my apaerment. We already have Marquet, Ted and Honey, and Tea Lounge nearby. I wonder if they’ll serve decent food?
