A couple of weeks ago a boutique called Jowelz opened in the storefront that was formerly a salon on the corner of Court and Luquer. The business specializes in accessories like handbags and hats, some of which are made in-house. Jowelz [Facebook] GMAP

This has to be the worst name ever. I feel badly, because we all want our area businesses to succeed. Maybe another place will open nearby called “goiter.”
