This week we’re checking out 13th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in Park Slope, which is part of the proposed expansion of the Park Slope Historic District. The expansion reaches between 7th and 14th streets, mostly between 7th and 8th avenues, and was calendered last year. This particular street is lovely and quiet, filled with a few different types of buildings. A converted warehouse takes up most of the northern side of the block. There’s also a row of modest townhouses, all with large front gardens. You can also spot a few carriage houses along the block, between taller brick apartment buildings. Very nice stretch indeed!
