We told you South Brooklyn Pizza was expanding from Carroll Gardens to 4th Avenue this fall, but just this weekend we noticed some real progress on the space. There’s a big sit-down area in back of the restaurant, and you can see a photo of the kitchen after the jump. Construction workers told us it could be open as soon as this week. We’re really interested to see how the new window the owners have put in will look once the construction fence is down.

They’re now open. Doesn’t look like a seating area in the back, though – just a couple small stools near the streetside window. Great pizza, though.
