We’ll all have a great excuse to visit Sunset Park this fall. The winter location for the Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg will be at Industry City from October 17 to March 27.
The market will set up shop in a 50,000-square-foot space on the second floor of 241 37th Street. About 40 local food vendors are slated to serve up delectable selections, including Industry City eateries Blue Marble Ice Cream, Home Frite and Mofongo.
Smorgasburg’s outdoor food market recently moved to Prospect Park. But the outdoor installment ends on October 11.
Industry City will be the Flea and Smorg’s only location in the cold months this year. Last year it had space in Williamsburg and Crown Heights, but the latter, on the ground floor of 1000 Dean Street, has been rented.
As a Bay Ridge resident, I may actually check it out now. Cool.
Or can you at least reveal if it will be a business that’s open to the public?
So…what are the plans for 1000 Dean’s ground floor?
