This six-story development rising at the corner of Montrose Avenue and Lorimer Street in Williamsburg is nearly finished, but a partial stop work order issued last month may have slowed down construction. The building at 49 Montrose Avenue will have 15 units spread across 10,500 square feet of residential space, as well as 1,758 square feet of community space, which will be a medical clinic, according to Schedule A filings.

There will also be eight enclosed parking spaces, 15 bike parking spots, and a roof deck. The developer is Empire Management, and the applicant of record is David Salamon Engineering, which is also listed on the permits for the futuristic Level Hotel in Williamsburg. It’s not the most attractive building in Williamsburg, but we guess it could be worse.

Check out another construction shot after the jump. What do you think of it?
