A seven-story, 133-unit residential development is planned for 125 Borinquen Place near the BQE in Williamsburg, according to a plan exam application filed last month. The mixed-use building will have  89,205 square feet of residential space, 977 square feet of commercial space and 68 enclosed parking spaces. DJLU Architect is the architect of record. The L-shaped corner lot still houses a one-story building, and the DOB has not approved demo applications for it. The property, which has frontage on Borinquen Place, Rodney Street and South 1st, has had the same owner since the early ’70s, according to PropertySharkGMAP
