totally off point but does anyone take their dog to dog abby since they’ve moved to red hook from the burg? it used to be on my way to work and now it’s way out of the way and they don’t have their other doggie shuttle yet. we are in clinton hill and I am desperate for a doggie car pool- it does take me to red hook 3 days a week though and i love red hook- wonder what it will look like in 5 years- good or bad?
i was in red hook on monday afternoon, and noticed this building, ( it used to be all boarded up). I can’t wait to see the renovated version.
There was a large vacant lot on Coffey St. (right off Van Brunt St.) and they seem to be setting up plywood barricades to start excavation for a foundation or something.
And close to that, there are workman gut renovating a multi-unit.
there was a guy on a bicylce and helmet, dark glasses, taking pictures of the park near the barge museum, i wonder if it was that “Lex’s folly” guy. or some other blogging dude.
There has been so much renovation and new construction going on in Red Hook, it seems in a few months the place will be so different.
HAVE YOU SEEN 128 COFFEY ST
I HOPE THEY BUILD MORE LIKE THAT

They better save that cornice! Or donate it to us–we are missing ours 😉

i wonder what they’re gonna do, build to resell or what?
