developmentA reader turned us on to this manufacturer of ceramic tiles. According to the company’s website, American Restoration Tile’s philosophy is that “If it has been made before, then we can make it again.” Our reader used ART to source some hexagonal tile for her bathroom. “I just got off the phone with them, ” she enthuses, “and they were sooo helpful!” We’ve already got our tiles, but sounds like a great resource for others.

  1. Check inventory and billing carefully as they attempted to overcharge us on more than one occasion roughly $1000. Their product seems to be fine although if they inform you the tile will be set on a paper backing (vs. nylon netting), communicate this to a potential contractor if angled cuts are required for your job. I do wonder if the primary posting on this thread was made by them (American Restoration Tile), as it includes their promo photo and a Welcome link to their site.

  2. Hello.
I work at the The Tile House in Ithaca. We spoke a few months ago about your tile I now have a customer who is interested in your material and I can no longer find my brouchure on your tile. If you could send me another one that would be great and a price sheet or I can just call and ask if that is ok. Let me know please thank you
