Re/Dress NYC, the plus-sized thrift and vintage store at 109 Boerum Place, is closing this Sunday, according to Brooklyn Based. It’s been in business for three years. The owner tells BB: “I chose to close now when we could do it in a positive and celebratory, albeit tenderhearted way, rather than ending up in a crisis that looked like sneaking away in the middle of the night because I couldn’t pay the bills.” There will be a goodbye fashion show tonight. Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $10 to $20; the proceeds benefits the Center for Anti-Violence Education.
