Yesterday a contractor at the new Red Apple supermarket on Myrtle Avenue and Ashland Place said the opening of the grocery is three weeks away. That squares with the latest published reports saying it was going to open either later this month or early next month. The store has been a long time coming: Red Apple Group demolished the local Associated more than five years ago.
