quotation-icon.jpgI remember walking from Park Slope to Pratt once, about 10 years ago. It was desolate and empty. I remember passing a huge empty red brick building on the corner of Gates and I forget what, thinking, this is a beauty, but who’s gonna want to live here. Look at the neighborhood now…it’s come a long way.

  1. Biff, two aren’t interested in my type and we’ve determined that you like plastic, since I’m au natural, I guess I can handle myself.

BTW…Shaggy’s are all the lyrics I need.
Mr. Lover, Lover turns any girl into a ‘Freaky Girl’

  2. The Liberty Bell??? That’s a big problem now. Before 9-11 if you wanted to see it or had friends in from out of town who had to see it but you didn’t want to wait in the long line you could just sneak in the back door and there it was. After 9-11 all these freedoms are gone. Its a changed world we live in.

Also they’ve put up all this ugly fencing around the whole Independence Hall area. It’s about 4′ tall so its really going to stop someone bent on destruction. The National Parks Dept. seems to be a quite clueless lot.

but it is nice to cut through the Park behind the Hall on the way to one of our favorite drinking establishments. very historic.
