If you’ve dreamed of donning a fancy topper and dancing under the stars in Prospect Park, there’s a party this summer that might fulfill your wishes.
The Prospect Park Alliance will be hosting another Prospect Park Soiree, a big dinner party at the park’s Peninsula. Bring your own delicious dishes and drinks and celebrate another year in Brooklyn’s backyard while enjoying an evening of music and entertainment.
To set a festive mood at the picnic-like event, guest are asked to get creative with a dramatic hat or headpiece as well as make a statement by decking their tables with show-stopping decor.
Tables and chairs will be provided and tables will accommodate up to 10 guests at each table — groups smaller than eight are encouraged to share tables.
The festivities take place Saturday, June 23 and the gates will open at 5 p.m. The event is limited to those age 21 and over. Individual tickets are $45 per guest and are available online — you can also buy a pack of tickets for a group of 10 and receive two complimentary bottles of wine.
All proceeds benefit the Prospect Park Alliance in their efforts to keep the park looking beautiful. To buy tickets or to learn more about this year’s Soiree, click here.
