Tempting you with visions of warm summer evenings, ticket sales have kicked off for the annual Prospect Park Soiree.
The Prospect Park Alliance is bringing back its festive, giant dinner party at the park’s Peninsula this June. Bring your own delicious dishes and drinks and celebrate another year in Brooklyn’s backyard while enjoying an evening of music and entertainment.
To set a festive mood at the picnic-like event, guests are asked to get creative with a dramatic hat or headpiece as well as make a statement by decking their tables with show-stopping decor. Partygoers take their decorating seriously, making strolling among the revelers to check out the elaborate tabletops part of the fun.
Tables and chairs are provided, but attendees bring in everything else. A big crew can attend as tables can accommodate up to 10 guests — smaller groups can join together and share a table.
The festivities take place Saturday, June 13 and the gates will open at 5 p.m. The event is limited to those aged 21 and over. Early bird individual tickets are $45 per guest through March 31 and are available online now. After March 31 tickets are $50 per guest. You can also buy a pack of tickets for a group of 10 and receive two complimentary bottles of wine.
All proceeds benefit the Prospect Park Alliance in their efforts to keep the park looking beautiful. To buy tickets or to learn more about this year’s Soiree, visit the event page online. Brownstoner is a Media Sponsor for this event.
