PA state income tax is very low. I can’t live somewhere where there are no seasons. It would also seem that, at least this year, FL is not providing any warm temps during the winter months!!!!
I could live in Florida, but not 100%. I like the Miami area, Jacksonville, St. Augustine. Here in Citrus County, it is not fashionable at all, but very beautiful. Everything is a jade green/green color. The spanish moss is a silver green, hanging from trees everywhere. I was lookinkg at the houses, really crappy cinderblock architecture, but with the right landscaping the houses are beautiful. If I had one, I would paint it a green/grey/jadish color and have interesting landscaping with palm trees, cacti, and interesting succulent plants. Also I would have to have a few citrus trees.
The neighbors behind them have grapefruit trees and orange trees. When the fruit is ripe, they put a basket under the tree to let my parents know that the fruit is ripe and that they are free to take it. That is what we ate this am.
Both places are an assault on your senses.
No matter that adoption is more complicated today, I think the basics of what Montrose said about adoption still hold true.

FL is about as ghastly a place as Nevada.
“There’s tons of latin talent here and it’s probably more diverse than the largely Cuban population in FL.”
Not only that, but DIBS would have to deal with meeting fewer Asians, notwithstanding Columbians who might pass as Asian.
