nerve of co-workers trying to sch a call at noon and doing it last minute. of course I rejected it as this lunch hr and I aint no lawyer who HAS to put up with that crap
I had this dream where I was in an alternate universe where Benson and Etson both agreed with me. It must have been a dream…. 🙂
Rf, adoption was probably tougher when I was a child (back when they used gas lamps) because they made more of an effort to check backgrounds, and rejected people for reasons they would never reject you for now. At least Catholic Charities did for my parents and me, as well as my brother. They even tried to match parents with kids who looked similar to them, which worked out well for us, although I don’t think that should be an important criteria. I could have ended up in a series of foster homes, an orphanage, or with horrible parents. Back then, they would not have given me to white, or other ethnic parents either. I was truly blessed with the choice they made. If I had wanted kids and couldn’t conceive, I would have adopted in a heartbeat.
Of course international adoptions are a whole different ballgame, for a lot of reasons. Different thing altogether.

Hey CGar, speaking of dates, what’s going on with all your dates?
We haven’t heard anything in ages.

Missing this stretch of the NY winter season suits me just fine. Miami and environs, or even more north could work.

“you shouldn’t be so picky about where your dates went to college!”

“Legion in drag?”
LOL, Biff, no. . . . Hmmmm, at least I don’t think she was Legion in drag . . .
(Don’t kill me Legion when you pop in at 4pm this afternoon!)
