In LA, I lived in the outer end of the suburban San Fernando Valley, so from a lifestyle perspective, it was pretty similar to living in any suburb outside of a huge city.
I do miss the easy access to hiking in the mountains, but I don’t really like the suburban lifestyle.
LA proper is pretty grimy and schizophrenic. It is large city that is not sure if it wants to be urban or not. The result is an ugly mix that does not work well.
My opinion of San Francisco is that it has all of the bad aspects of New York (except worse), and not as many of the good points.
I did not spend a lot of time in San Diego, but it seems to be like any other sunbelt city, perhaps with a more lively downtown.

yeah – probably can. my friend’s bro is making the t-shirts so hopefully he’ll make extras. I thought it would be fun to bring some midgets – but then it would just look like empty seats :/
!!!!!!!!!!! “Cgar, Come On DOWN! You are the next person the PRICE IS RIGHT!”
*rob*, I have 2 close friends who re-located to San Diego, one of them was born and lived his entire life in NYC, and the other lived here for 20 years. They both love it.
Scott, I peaked in too, since benson said Ty was out of control. Talk about a discussion going off the rails!
Remind me to talk to dave tomorrow about Denmark!
I think Obama read the OT today. He just said that “Only parents can make sure the TV is turned off.” LOL.
I just made the mistake of peaking into the bike path thread again.
Man, that is a toxic discussion.
