A manager from the Pavillion theater is looking to dispel rumors about how the movie house might have bedbugs, and she’s doing it in classic Park Slope fashion: By posting on the Park Slope Parents board, according to Fucked in Park Slope. This is what the manager said, in part: “Regarding bed bug rumors—there is no evidence that we have bed bugs at the Pavilion. However, being a public place and being a movie theater in New York City in particular, there is always a risk of getting bed bugs. That is why we have routine checks and treatments as suggested by the extermination company. It is a major concern, and if bed bugs were ever to be discovered in the theater, we would not sit idly by. The theater would temporarily close while we rectify the situation.” -FIPS
If you don’t get bed bugs…at the very least you will get malaria…. diaper rash syndrome(I made that up) or something worse from the filthy and disgusting place. YUCKKKKKKKK!!!!!
The old Sanders, which preceded the Pavilion, had a cheap and full proof bed bug eradication system; the sticky floor acted like fly paper and trapped the little buggers 🙂
Even the bed bugs can’t stand the Pavilion.
I can tell you that the rumors that there are holes in the damn screens are not, in fact, hooey.
