Owl and Pussycat Fleshes Out Its Space

Since opening in March, the Owl and Pussycat Salon has really grown into its space at 154 Vanderbilt Avenue (off Myrtle Avenue). After finding a big demand from parents in the nabe, the owners turned the basement into a dedicated children’s styling area. They also renovated the backyard, which was totally unfinished when they moved in; they’re in the process now of planting herbs and flowers. Still to come: the salon plans to offer classes in the indoor and outdoor spaces and the owners talking with interested parties to mix classes with something like a wine tasting.
