  1. Mention should be made here of the fledgling attempts to start a petition or some sort of grassroots effort to look into saving or landmarking the Wiloughby Avenue Convent in the eponymous thread. Go see.

Also, does anyone know how much to pay a babysitter for New Year’s eve? We’ve haven’t gone out since having children (I know, so lame) and have no idea what to expect or what to pay. Help?

  2. “Time magazine names Obama 2008 “Person of the Year”

    That’s no surprise.

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end…

  4. Some good news for a change…

“Time magazine names Obama 2008 “Person of the Year””

Sarah Palin was a runner-up…(I’m not kidding)

“It said US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson was first runner-up followed by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and China’s Zhang Yimou, who directed the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.”
