hah glad you guys enjoyed that
al di la is wildly overrated imho. when you tell a park sloper they have no real good stand out restaurants – they will always throw al di la and blue ribbon in your face (blue ribbon is also overrated and overpriced)
I won’t go to a restaurant that doesn’t take resevations unless I’m assured of a seat in 15 minutes or so. Its just not worth it and they do a disservice to their customers.

I imagined it something like this:
“I’m 6’4″ Polemicist. And I tend to dress up when I go out. I get a lot of undue attention because of it.”

But Dave, if you’re gorgeous like 11217, you wouldn’t mind waiting for a table, even outside…as more people can look and admire you!
No suit, no ‘fro, no service.

^^^^ No really don’t.
You guys are killing me with the pics and comments!
DIBS, I am sure with that fro and suit, you would definitely go to the front of the line in Al Di La.
Rob, you’re not missing much in my opinion. I went once and was not impressed at all. Innovative italian food but nothing to rave about.
Oh Dave, I love that pic!
