I have an undergrad degree in Clothing Engineering & Management. I’ve forgotten most of what I learnt but I can still spot a circular knitting machine at a hundred yards.
If you like textiles, then you need to go to the V&A and the Fashion and Textiles museums in London.
Biff, it’s all about the hair! I refuse to do pools because chlorine and a black woman’s hair cannot be and never will be friends! As far as any other non-chlorinated water sources, most of us refuse to wet our hair unless we are washing it. We don’t have that ‘wash&go’ hair and it takes way too long to get it back into the style we want (unless your hair is super duper short).

BIFF i love money is my fav. show next to charm school!!!! lol. i didnt watch yesterdays episode tho so dont tell me who got kicked off.. i heard that african americans have a different bone density and it makes swimming more difficult (is this true?!)

bxgrl, thank you! I’ll let you know if we need that…BH is a very good swimmer, but I’ll drown for sure without water-wings! ; )
