Dave, not sure you were speaking to me, but they should get an agent. Or maybe you know this already. They could also go directly to publishers who do that kind of book, but very likely any editor they speak with will tell them to go get an agent first.
I just got off the phone with a real estate agent who says as of last week, banks are now requiring 25 percent down on three-family houses — I think she meant even if you plan to live in it.
Uh-oh!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, right, nobody in prime Brooklyn cares because they’re already above the jumbo limit. I forgot.
BRG: the last time I was in Toledo, there was a contingent of young soldiers there from the Spanish army, on some assignment. The Spanish army provides their soldiers with the tighest, most ass-hugging khakis that you have ever. What a dream….the architecture…the hunky cadets….sigh!
Paul, the commute south via the parkway is much easier than across the TZ and then down the Sawmill or Sprain Brook. Those roads are nightmares. The Palisades approach to the George is by far the best, of course when you get over the bridge, you still have to deal with Manhattan traffic. The ferry was sooo nice, but they went broke. Nyack is nice but Grand View is my fave. I rented a house there, not one of the real cliff-houses, living in one of those would be like a fantasy.
25% down – another reason for prices to drop. Yeah Yeah. Make the wait worth while.

Looks like you could buy one from anywhere in the country and pick it up or have it shipped.
