I just do a word search for “chicken” to see who’s been talking about me behind my back.
There’s not a lot of competition to be the finest japanese in this town!
Olivino is around the corner from mine, dave. And they’re nice. So nice I have a hard time hating them for not being a coffee bar… but, why does gentrified Brooklyn need a wine store on every block?
I buy the wine in a box from Fresh Direct. Three Bandits or something. It’s not bad.
“Can we talk about how many upscale wine stores Brooklyn needs? More than the number of frozen yogurt shops or less?”
Just one more – preferrably on my way home from the train that has decent wines at good prices. Or maybe I’ll just start drinking Yellow Tail or Organic Pinot Noir (bleh)
