  1. NOLA, SURPRISE!!!!! We’ve been waiting for you to arrive here with a cake, party favours, snacks and drinks since last week. Ok, we were waiting for Nomi, but she has avoided us like Rob avoids the Louvre. So now the party is for you.

  2. Rob, I believe you do mean well. I think bxgrl said it well at 4:00. I’m not a huge fan of the opera, it’s not to my taste (I know, I know…for shame), but I can’t imagine saying it sucks. I can understand how others could appreciate and love it.

  3. Dave, Abu’s Bakery is right off of Bedford (west of), on the south side of Fulton. The owner was super nice. Hubby and I were talking with him and another guy that was just hanging around, for a while.

The cake was really good. Hubby is doing a project nearby and I will ask him to bring me something else from there. I really liked it. It was simple but delicious.

  4. Rob,
From your comments, you should try a trip to New Orleans. It is beautiful and laid back. Spring is in full bloom. My kids play barefoot, we go to crawfish boils on the weekends, Jazz Fest is the next couple of weeks. and yes, you could find hundreds of apartments with that porch and pink lemonade. and also be in a real city (with lots of problems) with a big gay community, etc. etc.

  5. There’s a difference between saying those places suck and they’re not to your taste. It’s not the fault of the museums or the botanical gardens that you can’t appreciate them. Your loss too.
