ooooohhhhh! I’ve kicked off the nasty ol’ chocolate v vanilla debate! Love it.
I have always been a yellow cake with chocolate frosting person. Yum. Chocolate/chocolate was always too much. But, Dave, your cake sounds fabulous, and possibly easy enough for me to attempt.
from grades 5 – 7 1/2 i spent my lunch money on a tub of chocolate frosting that i ate with glee in the lunchroom making everyone jealous who had to eat real food. it’s funny cuz no single teacher on duty said anything about it or thought it strange. they’d probably blow a gasket these days if a kid did that.
BRG…I like the B&W cookie primarily because its a little bit more cakey than cookie. So its the combination of both.
Although i have a preference for the white frosting on the B&W cookie, aside from that darker is better when we’ve finishe dessert and are heading to bed!!!

Ever had coffee from these beans??? Incredible!!!! I kid you not.
Kopi Luwak or Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus). The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested. This process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, in the Philippines (where the product is called Kape Alamid) and in East Timor (locally called kafé-laku). Vietnam has a similar type of coffee, called weasel coffee, which is made from coffee berries which have been regurgitated by local weasels. In actuality the “weasel” is just the local version of the Asian Palm Civet.

Hagen Daaz Belgian Chocolate Chocolate…yummy.
although I do love Mint chocolate Chip…the best I had was in Gettysburg, in some little ice parlor.
Coffee also tastes like dirt.
Coffee ice cream is the best.

“Snappy, I like Chocolate and you like vanilla….hhhmmmm ;-)”
BRG, I can’t respond to that in a way that won’t get me tossed off this board!
I could never make up my mind so I used to eat them down the middle and the sides would fall off on the ground. My technique needed work 🙂
