thanks NOP! im going to go read that. the one thing that kinda sorta does suck about blogs is that conversations are over so much faster than regular message boards and you never know when new comments were added to old blog posts like you do on message board threads. it would be awesome if there was a way to track if new posts were added to old blog posts and i think it would actually make people more apt to jump into older conversations.
Just wanted to run this by you guys if anyone is interested. I am on a board of directors of my co-op and the board is currently selling a studio apartment in our building in Kensington. Building is great and neighborhood is really nice and convenient for a lot of reasons (I can give more details if needed). The apartment is about 525 square feet and has a completely separate kitchen and entry way. Bathroom has a window and the room itself has 3 windows. Apartment needs complete renovation since it’s in pretty bad shape but with some spakling and painting, it’s basically livable. We are looking for something in the 90-99K range with maintanance of $431. Craigslist ad is below and broker’s number is on it so feel free to contact him and if you need any other specifics about the building/apartment/neighborhood, feel free to ask me.
THL – ok am dying at my desk – miss nasty pants, truly! – Mary-oh is such a whiner and was plain rude to Jill. Ramona did get all weird on Silex, I actually felt bad for them to have to endure her rant! Ok, wait so Kelly admits to not going to Columbia and then lies to Ramona later on about going to Columbia
Rob – Oh trust me I know, you also don’t need a college education to be smart!

RE: DEATH BY OVERDOSE AT 201 EASTERN PARKWAY
There’s an interesting new (and extensive) comment about the “drug den” at 201 Eastern Parkway, covered by Brownstoner a couple of days ago.
Scroll back and read it. It’s the writer’s first post on Brownstoner, and it’s informative and heartfelt.
Also, check out TheAndrewLee’s post just above it. It lists the kinds of residents in the building.
Perhaps more than any other apartment house, 201 encapsulates Brooklyn this moment in time.
Nostalgic on Park Avenue
Lesbians don’t know anything about computers. Monster trucks, maybe, but computers, no.
