Great news about MM’s new column, both because of the subject matter and her eloquence. I would love to see more content on houses, architecture, styles, history, etc., and I think this will open up some nice discussions. This site sprang from the myriad topics that Mr. B encountered in taking apart and renovating his house — historical, stylistic, construction, market, legal, etc. I am interested in more dialogue on what homeowners are doing now in the current market — still renovating? scaling back? More DIY? Changed plans as to whether to stay, move, ugrade/downgrade? Mostly, those of us that bought, whether in the last 2, 5, 10, or 20, have our homes and enjoy our neighborhoods. Eyeing the market is one small part of the experience of being a homeowner in historic Brooklyn neighborhoods and I am happy for any steps that expand the discussion beyond the daily teams bear v. bull sparring that has gotten quite repetitive and is the source of much of the rancor.
P.S. Mr. B, I took no offense Friday. Apart from the fact that this is your living, I have always seen you as trying to foster good discussion, and i read your query as an attempt to recapture that.

Hello everyone. Spent Saturday in P.Slope and had a blast. Lot’s of people out and about.
That’s all to report. Back to work
what are skittles exactly? are they like M&Ms but with peanut butter inside? I can’t seem to recall the essence of a skittle.
