To all the regular posters;

In line with what THL wrote last Friday, I really believe that the regular posters should stage some type of strike against Brownstoner.

I suspect that Mr. B. is going through some type of burn-out right now, and that is perfectly understandable. I’ve been there, and one aspect of burn-out is that you wish that you had a “different life”. Any professional, however,will refrain from lashing out at those who support you, and that is just what Mr. B. has done here. I actually first felt that he wasn’t thrilled with the regular posters at the time of the get-together.

If I were a publisher and I had a dedicated following that had formed a social communiy, I would be thrilled. I would certainly have said a few word of thanks at the event, and I would have also done so on the main pages of my web-site.
Neither happened.

If you take a look at his post last Friday, he dumped everything on the regular posters. WE indimidate the new posters. He cites a non-existent beat-down that he couldn’t even recall when pressed about it. He blames the quality of the site on the regular posters, not even mentioning the possible effects of his editorial matter. Note that he also characterized us, tongue-in-cheek, as “spirited”.

This is disgraceful. As Troy pointed out in last week’s OT, here is a proprietor of a business that has shown no gratitude to his regular patrons. He may have even manipulated the whole issue in order to raise the number of clicks. Finally, he empowered every nut-job lurker out there.

Although, BRG, as I am deemed a ‘usual suspect’ some people might resent that!

Chicken, those FHA delinquencies – are those the loans that I hear about that are able to be restructured to get a lower payment amount each month? Or am I confused? (well, I’m perpetually confused, but hey, what can a girl do!)
