  1. My definition is probably a little different from others in the market in that it’s not defined by an absolute-time.

    long-term for me is where you wait until your underlying thesis is actually proved correct (or incorrect) rather than playing the shift in expectations ahead of the event.

    eg If you want to hold them until the companies benefit from the announced subsidies then I would consider that long-term.

  2. DIBS, vegemite is antipodean – marmite is the english equivalent. I think they are both “yeast extract” although how they get that stuff out of yeast is beyond me.

    Nutella is truly the spread of the gods though.
