I love the Seaport area- just not the touristy parts. I remember before they made it into a mall, going inside and shopping with the old sailors. What a bunch of great characters. And the stuff they were selling- i will always regret not snapping up the stuffed baby alligator in a white satin wedding gown with fake seriously large bosoms.

harry’s is great. and next door at Financier are the best cakes and desserts in the area.
One of my favorites is Harry’s restaurant right on Hanover Square.
