If you send a kid somewhere with a sandwich please make it ON FROZEN BREAD! My mom used to do that for my school lunch and it works great. This way by the time the kid eats it the bread is thawed perfectly and the sandwich meats and spread and not warm.

My aunt used Miracle Whip. She also made Ambrosia. ‘Nuff said.
