I don’t know at this point what to believe. On the one hand MM is right – the victim may have been someone willing to tell the truth. On the other, based on facts from her past and her connections, she could also be a scam artist. And yes, Vance had to act but on the other hand, he made it seem like an ironclad case and that DSK was guilty without a doubt. That is not the basis of our criminal justice system, where supposedly you are innocent until proven guilty.
I’ve been- terrifying isn’t the word. And then for weeks after it stays with you. You can’t sleep and you’re terrified of everyone. I’ve face the barrel of a gun twice in my life- I’d really rather not do it again.
