Those kids in the story sounded very mature and reasonable, like they realize their parents are insane but they’re still nice to them. Unfortunately, I have still not quite reached this level of maturity, but I am working on it.
That’s quite a burden for a teenager to carry. At least they have each other!

From 5 minutes of scanning Wikipedia:
Rapture = when the 144,000 saved are taken to heaven
Armageddon = the site of a huge battle to be fought between the anti-christ and forces of good. Jesus may appear here
Apocalypse = the unveiling of Jesus, the end of the current world, the start of 1000 years of the new world occupied only by the good (may be at the battle of Armageddon)
The False Prophet is a subordinate to the Anti-Christ, and does a lot of his work on the ground.
