Blowfish – do you mean the front room? the oven’s right as you come in.
I’ve definitely been there with kids seated in both halves of the joint, so it may just be coincidence.
blowfish, I’ve went with the kid a bunch of times and we’ve sat in diff spots each time – it was always brunch time on weekends (not sure if that made a diff). I actually found their brunch stuff pretty rock solid (ie even more than the pizza which is good)
and the waiter confirmed it

Last night I went to a get-together on the UES. A woman there said to the group, “My roommate is moving to Greenpoint. Do you know Greenpoint? Apparently it’s a Polish neighborhood in Brooklyn.”

I went to see Fleet Foxes at the United Palace Theatre in Washington Hts -they were amazing
but the band that opened for them called the Cave Singers were realllly good too – it was a total Beardo event. The Uptown A train has never seen so many white folks…
Actually that used yo be the front room. They just moved the entrance to the Lewis Ave side because that “bar” waiting area makes more sense. Aslo it will be a fully stocked bar soon if it’s not already.
I always sit at the bar in front of the pizza ovens and yes, the families with kids tend to get stuck around me but they all seem to be very small kids and not noisy like bratty older ones tend to be.
Also, they are not Park Slope kids so by definition less obnoxious and petulent.
Not gated, randi- but one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in NYC. Riverdale is also . Sadly, not the Bronx neighborhood I grew up in, but we were close.
