Jessi, you have different outlooks than most girls (I mean it in a good way). I usually would prefer over the phone too and I respect that you feel this way about these kinds of situations but unfortunately from my experience most girls don’t. I heard so many times from girls who dated other guys and were broken up with over the phone that it was cowardly and low class (as M4L mentioned). Even after a week.
I did spend time with her and was intimate so at least I own her a face to face talk (even if it’s a la Jackal style).

she sounds like she’d be an awesome contestant on one of those VH1 shows… i think you should give her another chance. lol. im actually chary of people who DONT get jealous in relationships… it usually means they dont really love you and are probably screwing around on the side and dont care if you do too.
kens, lech is right. Tell her that her behavior was unacceptable and you’re not dealing with it. Do it over the phone, as it’s only been a month.
Why waste the gas and time in the drive.
Kens, the less direct you are the more you open yourself up to be played. Tell her quickly and directly and do not waver or hesitate at all. Look her in the eyes, tell her it’s over, and walk away.
You want her to be caught off guard. If you try to draw this out you give her time to work up to a rage. Then you’re totally fucked.
You want to leave when she has just started crying. Do not comfort her. She will have other people to do that for her.
