“My fave Easter moment was going to church in Ghana – I went with the three wives of my friend and the four of us ladies all wore dresses sewn in the same print. ”
so like jester – he went to church with his favorite hos
Last night I went to a Communion banquet. Someone yelled out, “Jester, sit here with us!” so I did. I was sitting between three kids ages 2,3, and 5.
A girl came up to the 5 year old and said, “Why did you have to leave class?”
He said, “I hit my head.”
“Oh.”
they stood silently for a long second. Then the girl ran over to her mother and gave her something she’d drawn.
“Oh! It’s lovely,” her mom said, hugging her.
The mother of the hit-head boy asked him to get her some water. He squeezed out of his chair and then made a long circle around the entire banquet tables and gave it to her and stood silently as she drank it. Then she hugged him.
Then someone apologized for making me sit in with all the ‘annoying’ kids. “No problem,” I said.

And the bread.
Ooh, YUM! Lamb & gnocchi. What time is dinner!?
Tell me about the gnocchi – potato, I’m guessing.
I make a really yummy version with ricotta cheese – it’s a fat-boy Dom Delouise recipe!
