As I just wrote in the Thursday links thread-
Let me further amend what I wrote yesterday: all coops or condos should have at least one resident who is a MALE Italian engineer, so that they can deal with the contractors who are likely to be cut from the same cloth. You think that these contractors can deal with people who wear “Save the Geese” buttons on their lapel? Of course not.
Back in Pre-Revolutionary America when the song “Yankee Doodle” was first popular, the singer was not referring to the pasta “macaroni” in the line that reads “stuck a feather in his hat and called it macaroni”. “Macaroni” was a fancy (“dandy”) style of Italian dress widely imitated in England at the time. By sticking a feather in his cap and calling himself a “dandy,” Yankee Doodle was proudly proclaiming himself to be a gentleman of some social standing.
‘We all know zombies are easier to fight than killer robots.”
indeed – although the zombies in my dream last night weren’t slow “Night of the living dead” zombies – they were fast, intelligent “28 days later” zombies.
i ended up getting bitten because no liberal hipsters in brooklyn have guns.
Of course that’s just for the zombie apocalypse. I think when it comes to an attack of the killer robots it’s going to be a lot harder to survive. We all know zombies are easier to fight than killer robots.

Did you know…

Don’t be a square, cobble.
Let me try this again to prove it’s equally unfunny when said the correct way:
In the song Yankee Doodle, is he calling the hat or the feather “macaroni”?
‘We all know zombies are easier to fight than killer robots.”

It’s a pony, Biff. Pretty sure it’s the feather he’s calling Macaroni. Any other questions? : P

In the song Yankee Doodle, is he calling the horse or the feather “macaroni”?
“I found a new Asian masseur.”
Does he have a sister?
