bill cosby pudding is 10000 x easier to make. it comes in a little jello sized box in the jello aisle at the supermarket jessi!! you might have to go to a normal peoples supermarket tho to find it. maybe next time i see you ill bring you a box as a return favor for introducing me to rice vinegar!!!
You should’ve cooked the initial ingredients until they were blended & then added the milk – having the whole mix thicked each time before adding more milk.
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup baking cocoa
* 1/4 cup cornstarch
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 4 cups milk
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* M&M’s, optional
Directions
* In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. gradually add milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into individual serving dishes. Chill until serving. Sprinkle with M&M’s if desired. Yield: 6-8 servings.

It’s possible that it wasn’t boiled long enough. Did you chill it well?
