“Yes, it was savage and I may be permanently scarred.”- dave
It was dave and I resent anyone trying to horn in on my territory- only I get to savage you. If anyone is going to scar you permanently, it’s going to be me! 🙂
Common sense, civility and good manners are not something that can be “pointed out.”
I am glad you say that but do you follow it?
Yes, he does. Believe it or not, there IS a sense of civility here and ocassionally when discussions go overboard, people actually try to patch things up and or understand one another or at worst, observe a ceasefire from vicious personal attacks. And believe me, when it happens, the attacker tends to scuttle off in response to the collective OT. And also, when somebody is being an a$$hole, you never see such a display of unity. I remember the last time a poster who will remain nameless decided to try to skewer a few people here, he probably was shocked to see how everybody came out to run him off.
I love it when Lech starts dissing people… I have to keep the Webber’s dictionary link open for those times. I need to start jotting these down so I can fire back when necessary when I have verbal war with other peeps.
Gotta go again. Sorry to miss the knock-down of oHS but it’s such an easy target it won’t be that much fun anyway. I’m being driven to distraction by a jackhammer next door & also a screwgun evidently doing intermitent sheetrock. Ugh.

Revised and more complete rules:
1. No puns
2. It’s completely OK to talk about money, politics, and religion
3. When someone has sand in their varjay, tell them they have sand in their varjay. Being polite is actually cruel in a situation like that.
4. Jester has a -10 handicap for GOTD, just to give others a chance at winning
Maybe I’ll post more later but I’ve gotta run.
where’s Snappy? She had a link to the OT rules.
is it safe to come back yet?
