It’s a good sized parcel (almost 800 acres) for a pretty reasonable amount of money. The key with timberland is finding a way to buy good growing timber without paying a lot for the land underneath it. This fits the bill perfectly. (again, I haven’t looked at it personally)
Lech…that parcel is right near Cranberry Lake which is a really beautiful place that we went to for overnight ecology field trips in college. It’s really sad that so many New Yorkers (NYC ones) have no idea what the rest of NYS looks like
