Kens, I read that article. Right around the corner from my old house, and my ex-Vet was quoted. Funny how all the neighbors said they don’t know anything, which was pretty much my experience living there.
Took the kids to Phillipsburg Manor in Sleepy Hollow yesterday. It’s a colonial period historical re-enactment thing. Yesterday they were shearing sheep, pulling, carding, spinning and dying wool. It was great. I usually don’t go for historical re-enactment stuff (that is directed in particular to whoever said he thought I would be into civil war re-enactment) but this was a lot of fun.
Nothing funnier than a New York accent coming out from under a three corner hat.

bfarwell, I agree with dibs about that house. It’s just a block or so from the the most spectacular block in Bed-Stuy, maybe in Brooklyn.
