going to go see Scream 4 in the court street cinema in a bit… i googled it for directions and a FIPS article popped up about it having bedbugs… and apparently it’s one of the msot ghetto theatres in nyc?! lol that last part im sorta happy about cuz i like to talk during movies and make comments stuff, but ew, the bedbug thing. definitely going to do a major shakeoff when i leave the place!
Biggest real estate story of the week is Norman Mailer’s A-frame apartment, complete with galley roomes, ladders and a crow’s nest. Includes a separate small guest apartment with its own bath and roof access. Furniture and artifacts negotiable. Corcoran has the 2.5m listing (142 Columbia Heights, Apt 4).
Broke on the NYT City Room Blog around noon; within 90 minutes Curbed and Brooklyn Heights Blog each had their own posts about it.
