foie gras – so out of curiosity read up on it. turns out forcefeeding is ubiquitous in france, but not outside of france. so maybe there’s an american company i could seek out—-a win/win since its more humane (still killing) and perhaps i can ‘buy local’. i’ll propose this to the Co-op (and then probably get banned).

only thing worse might be a veal/foie gras rollatini.
