sounds great, but am in the middle of selling my house – so I don’t want to freak them out too much with people coming in and then we have to pack and move to a new place, now’s probably not ideal for me or new kitties – and I would totally take an older cat – it doesn’t have to be a kitten

I actually like cats. One of the cruelest things my mom did when I was a kid was to make me give away a kitten I brought home from a 2 week camp stay. I was emotionally damaged. That’s when my republican tendencies started to emerge.
