This year I probably should have gone with an accountant, since I had 2 partial year state returns, a property that changed from personal residence to rental, and shares in a partnership with a nasty K-1.
I would think the C would be less crowded…..seems so when I see it pull into Jay Street.
IRT trains are narrower and hence more bumping into each other.
Would kill me to pay accountant. I only did once. Depreciation schedule is set – just use same number each year. (unless you spend big$ on major capital improvement).
The work to taxes is gathering the paperwork/receipts not filling out the forms (especially if use turbo or taxcut or whatever).
for a number of years i used turbotax. the problem with turbotax is that you have to buy the software every year, dont you? it’s much more economical and easier to just ask people on the internet help out with difficult things.

Of course, *rob*, there’s that other old adage, “You get what you pay for”.
Pete – how old are you? IRT?
Rob, aren’t you gonna thank me? Dave at 10:33 said you’re getting a refund now!
Yeah, I have a fair number of K-1s. Complicated return in 2007.
I’ve been using Tax Act for the last 10 years.

*rob* maybe for now I will imagine putting all of this in a lilac bubble and blowing it away……
Or maybe not. 😉
haha, DeLepp, not the kind of notariety I am looking for.
For now, just shuffle along with the damp, surly masses.
